Chitra has called Dorval home for more than 35 years. Many know her as a neighbour, volunteer and community builder. She has been raising funds for West Island scholarships to leading local non-profit organisations, including supporting youth and families.

A strategic thinker, scientist and administrator, Chitra has extensive research knowledge in human genetic toxicology and waste management, along with a Ph.D. specializing in cancer immunotherapy. With her expertise and dedication, she will bring valuable service and knowledge to the citizens of Dorval.

She has dedicated over 30 years to empowering women, advancing education and promoting advocacy initiatives.

Chitra combines strong local commitment with extensive leadership experience, making her exceptionally well-prepared to represent District 4. She is eager to meet residents, listen to their priorities and collaborate on practical solutions.

With her vision, leadership and lifelong dedication to service, Chitra is our finest choice for District 4. She is ready to support families, improve community well-being and together we will help shape Dorval’s future.
