As a mayoral candidate, I firmly believe that housing is a right, not a privilege. Over the past weeks, I met with several community members, housing groups, and experts to better understand the needs of our residents and to study viable solutions for Dorval’s housing challenges.
The reality is that too many long-time Dorval residents can no longer afford to live in the community they helped build. High-rise developments and rising costs are pushing people out. That must change.
That’s why our entire Démocratie Dorval Democracy team is committed to making affordable and social housing a top priority of our mandate. We will work toward a balanced approach that ensures Dorval remains a place where everyone, young families, seniors, and individuals of all income levels, can live with dignity and stability.
Together, we can build a Dorval that’s inclusive, compassionate, and forward-thinking.
Because everyone deserves a place to call home.
