Me Umberto Macri, lawyer and resident of Dorval since 2015, is married to Me Maria R. Battaglia, a lawyer practicing in Dorval. Graduated in Political Science and Law, and a member of the Québec Bar since 1991, Me Macri has dedicated nearly 35 years to defending his clients’ interests in civil, corporate, and criminal law. He has managed his own law firm, overseen complex budgets, and successfully represented clients in cases worth millions of dollars before multiple levels of court, including the Québec Court of Appeal. He holds three university degrees — in Political Science, in Community Politics and the Law (Concordia University), and in Law (Université de Sherbrooke). His path also includes 14 years as president of a provincial political riding association, where he navigated several elections, developed policy, and made key decisions under pressure. Over the years, he has been invited to speak on legal and municipal issues across Montréal and abroad and has also taught civil procedure as a lecturer, sharing his experience with hundreds of students. Deeply engaged in his community, Me Macri has helped organize local events, provided legal guidance to community initiatives, and defended vulnerable residents, including representing a former resident of the Herron Residence in civil proceedings. Me Macri wishes to place his legal experience, management skills, and vision at the service of Dorval. A Dorval resident for 13 years, mother of two, special-education educator, and founder of Handicap Action et Diversité, she is known for her empathy, integrity, and hands-on engagement with families. For more than nine years, she has supported children, parents, and educators in local schools and community services, helping to build more inclusive and caring environments. She also leads local initiatives promoting diversity, inclusion, and community connection, firmly believing that every person deserves to be recognized and supported. Since 2021, Pascal has proudly represented the citizens of District 2 on Dorval City Council. A devoted father and community leader for more than 20 years, he has been actively involved in sports organizations, school committees, and local initiatives. Linda has proudly called Dorval home since 2002, where she raised her son, built a successful business, and established strong roots within the community. An engineer by training and a seasoned entrepreneur, she brings practical expertise, proven leadership, and a genuine passion for problem-solving. Now retired, Linda leads an active and healthy lifestyle, and is dedicated to using her experience to support balanced growth, enhance public services, and help ensure a high quality of life for all residents of Dorval and District 3.

A Dorval resident for more than 35 years, Chitra Chopra is widely recognized as a neighbour, volunteer, and community builder. A scientist with a Ph.D. in cancer immunotherapy, she brings extensive experience in genetic and environmental toxicology, waste management, and nonprofit leadership. Over her professional career, Chitra has held leadership positions in science, administration, and corporate management. She served as President and Scientific Director of Bio-Tox Research Ltd, providing expertise in environmental and human health risk assessments, toxicology, and waste management systems. She later directed finance, administration, and corporate affairs at major companies in Montréal, managing multi-million-dollar budgets and teams of more than 100 employees. Her work has also included consulting roles with environmental and biotechnology firms across Canada, where she contributed to projects in pollution abatement, regulatory compliance, and public health. Earlier in her career, she participated in research support for toxicological evaluations related to the Valdez oil spill and in technology transfer for waste management systems. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Chitra has spent more than three decades promoting women’s empowerment, advancing education, and supporting youth and families. Deeply rooted in Dorval, she continues to dedicate her energy to building an inclusive and sustainable community. Combining deep local roots with strong scientific and leadership experience, Chitra Chopra is ready to represent District 4 with vision, knowledge, and a steadfast commitment to service.

A proud resident of Dorval since 2012, Isabelle is married and the devoted mother of two children. With many years of experience in the health field, she has dedicated her skills to supporting the well-being of others. As an active member of the Association of Naturopaths of Quebec and its Board of Directors, she is deeply involved and committed with rigor and professionalism. Passionate and strongly connected to her community, Isabelle is determined to represent citizens with attentiveness, efficiency, and integrity. Bilingual, organized, and approachable, she will be a strong and trustworthy voice at City Hall. Born and raised in Dorval, Joe has deep roots in the community. For more than 12 years, he worked for the City of Dorval in recreation, as a lifeguard, instructor, and supervisor, gaining first-hand knowledge of family needs and municipal services. Today, as an air traffic controller with NAV CANADA, he brings valuable expertise on airport-related issues, a key concern for residents. Joe believes in democracy, transparency, and teamwork and is committed to listening to citizens and ensuring the voices of North Dorval are heard at City Hall.
