🚗 A Smarter Winter Parking Policy for Dorval

Inspired by recent community discussions – it’s time to bring common sense to winter parking in Dorval.

Every year, Dorval bans overnight street parking from November 15 to April 15 even when there’s no snow.This rule causes real frustration for residents, especially those in areas with limited parking.

If elected, our team will take immediate action:

🔹 Ask Public Security to pause overnight parking tickets on non-snow nights this winter.

🔹 Launch a notification system so residents only move their cars when snow removal is actually needed.

🔹 Begin talks with local property owners like the Bell building and Jardins Dorval to allow temporary parking on snow-clearing nights.

🔹 Review and modernize the bylaw to make it fair, efficient, and resident-friendly.

This plan keeps our streets clear and makes life easier for Dorval residents.

It’s time for common sense winter parking that works for everyone.
